First of all, full marks for that head. I love a froth. I’m probably one of the few Yorkshiremen who actually relishes a ‘milk pour’ (though I’m not a Czech lager fan). Incorrect glass, but when you’re in a pub called ‘Wunder Bar’, maybe just go with it. This is a regulation issue pils, quite dry and hoppy – tastes a bit Old School, its kinda like a 1970s German pils as served in a pub on a British roundabout- should have Thin Lizzy in the background or something. Perfectly decent but not starting a fire for this Billy Joel.
Verdict: an honest, workmanlike 5.5/10
