Purchased at Hohmanns Brauhaus, Fulda.
A Kellerbier from Hohmanns – a local Fulda microbrewery founded in 2008 – that is unusually dark and rich for a beer of this type. Once you get the past the fact that it looks like a Dunkel, and tastes like a Dunkel (and if it could quack, would probably quack like a Dunkel) it is actually really good. Tastes very malty, but still eminently quaffable. Plus I like Dunkels anyway.
Verdict: a hefty and noteworthy 8.5/10
