The latest Helles beer of choice to be found on the Bord Restaurant of the DB network. It used to Erdinger Brauhaus Helles (excellent) then Benediktiner Hell (very good) now it’s this. Of course you can always opt for a Bitburger Pils – but why would you ? I’d pitch this as slightly better than than the Benediktiner, not quite as good as the Erdinger. Quite hoppy for a Helles, but sweet, smooth and drinkable. A decent offering from this Bavarian microbrewery.
Verdict: a solid 6/10.
