Purchased at: ‘Hopfingerbräu am Brandenburger Tor’, right in the heart of Berlin between the Reichstag and the most famous landmark – the Brandenburg Gate, was a fairly unassuming sausage shack that seemed to only sell one of its kind. One Sausage To Rule Them All™️ so naturally this hungry Hobbit felt compelled to investigate. Sometimes you see buns that would require dental surgery after tucking into, but this example was surprisingly soft and responsive, and the sausage, well, you couldn’t go wrong. It did have an unexpectedly “citrusy” element about it which was what has made this such a standout for me. Complemented with both ketchup and mustard, which to some may be the purest bravado, but to get the full experience in one go it was a case of simply having to.
